Just to let you know that the beautiful wine parcel (ref 3306) was delivered on Monday morning as you promised.  It was unfortunate that it missed the actual delivery date, but I understand that these mistakes occasionally happen, and I really appreciate the trouble you went to to rectify this as soon as possible. 

It is rare to deal with a company who are so willing to admit to an error, and deal with it as efficiently as you did.  By the sound of it, you more than compensated for it with complimentary chocolates and nuts added to the original order.  Thank you very much!
